Aaron Mares

Data Scientist · Office of the Dean

Aaron Mares is Data Scientist in the University of Florida Graduate School’s Office of the Dean.

He is a two-time UF alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UF’s Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering  (2020) and a Master of Science in Information Systems and Operations Management degree, with a concentration in data science, through UF’s Warrington College of Business (2024).

He became a full-time Graduate School employee soon after graduation with his bachelor’s degree, working in its Data Management unit. As part of its Office of the Dean now, he handles data analysis.

His interests include playing music, badminton, tennis, and reading.
