Lorna Dishman

Administrative Specialist · Academic Affairs

Lorna Dishman is Administrative Specialist for Academic Affairs within the University of Florida Graduate School.

Her career at UF began in 1996, in its Department of Soil, Water and Ecosystem Sciences — and later in its College of Agricultural and Life Sciences dean’s office — before she moved to the Graduate School in 2000, where she coordinated daily operations, travel, meetings, and special events within its dean's office as an executive assistant.

In her current role, she works with the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs on curricular, student, and faculty issues to maintain sound academic principles and regimen at the graduate level at the University of Florida.
