Lisa De LaCure

Lisa De LaCure is Editor on the University of Florida Graduate School’s Thesis & Dissertation team.

She joined UF as an employee in 1992, working at its Registrar’s Office in student and staff support, degree certification, and student record maintenance and verification. She also served as desktop publisher for both it and the Office of Admission.

In 1996, she moved to the Graduate School, where she worked in its Graduate Student Records for 13 years, specializing in degree certification, graduation audits for students, and customer service for students, faculty, and staff. In 2009, she moved to its Editorial Office.

She is now a senior editor on its Thesis & Dissertation team and reviews final versions of student dissertations and theses before graduation.

Her interests include volunteering for philanthropies, event planning, UF Gator sports, and cultivating flowers.
