Grinter Fellowship

Description

Linton Elias GrinterThe Grinter Fellowship — named, like the University of Florida Graduate School’s home base of Grinter Hall, in honor of the late Dr. Linton Elias Grinter (UF Graduate Dean and Director of Research from 1952 to 1969, pictured left) — is available as an added incentive for recruiting new, truly exceptional Doctor of Philosophy or Master of Fine Arts students to UF.

Details
  • This fellowship includes a stipend ranging from $2,000 to $4,000.
  • Funding is for up to three years (for Doctor of Philosophy students) or two years (for Master of Fine Arts students).
  • Continued funding beyond the first year hinges on satisfactory academic performance with at least a 3.0 overall grade point average.
