- Networking with current UF graduate students.
- Learning more firsthand about admission, financial aid, and housing.
UF even covers lodging and (most) meals while you visit!
What You Need to Apply
- Application form (see below)
- Unofficial transcripts from each institution you have attended.
- Statement of purpose (no more than two pages, 12-point font, double-spaced) that covers:
- Your short-term and long-term academic and professional goals.
- How a graduate degree will help you achieve these goals.
- Why you want to pursue your graduate degree at the University of Florida.
- Your academic/research interests, with the names of any UF faculty members whose work interests you.
- How participating in the Campus Visitation Program (CVP) will help you in pursuing your graduate program and supporting your academic goals.
Please make sure that you submit all materials before the deadline to be considered for the program.
Eligibility & Requirements
To participate in the Campus Visitation Program (CVP), you must...
- Plan to apply for Fall 2025 admission to a University of Florida Ph.D. or M.F.A. degree program.
- Be an undergraduate senior in college, an enrolled master's student, or an interested post-baccalaureate applicant.
- Have at least a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale in coursework completed at a regionally accredited college or university.
- Be a United States citizen or permanent resident. (International students currently enrolled at a higher education institution within the continental United States also may be considered.)
Deadlines & Critical Dates
- The Fall 2024 CVP application deadline is Friday, October 4, 2024.
- Fall 2024 CVP takes place Thursday, November 7 and Friday, November 8 2024.
