Graduate education at the University of Florida was well represented at the Council of Graduate Schools (CGS) Annual Meeting in St. Louis, Missouri December 4-7, 2024.

The theme of this year’s CGS meeting was “Leading for the Future: New Opportunities, New Challenges, New Strategies.” The event afforded numerous graduate educators from across North America with a phenomenal opportunity to meet colleagues, build networks, share experiences, and brainstorm strategies through insightful sessions, workshops, and exhibitions.

CGS is the national voice for the graduate education community in the United States. Over the past six decades, its sole mission has been to advance graduate education and research through policy advocacy, research innovation, and development of best practices. Its institutional membership includes over 450 universities and colleges throughout the United States and Canada, including the University of Florida.
