Grad Talk! — the University of Florida Graduate School podcast produced by its Graduate Student Success Center — has dropped two new episodes that feature insights into Grad Gator life from students, faculty members, and educational professionals.

Listen to the Grad Talk! podcast on Spotify!Qualifying Quests delves into meeting the challenge of the qualifying examination — that rite of passage doctoral students must go through to advance into the dissertation writing phase of their degree programs. Listen to graduate faculty member Dr. Mohammed Gbadamosi (UF College of Pharmacy) and doctoral candidate Sabrina Zequeira (UF Medical Sciences Doctor of Philosophy program) as they share their strategies, experiences, setbacks, and triumphs at they tackled this academic milestone.

Dissertation Diaries explores the journey of writing a dissertation — from start to finish, from initial research to final defense. Join professional writing coach Dr. Vernetta Mosley of Cultivate the Writer and UF graduate students Kathryn Hartikka (Sociology Doctor of Philosophy candidate) and Naa Akle Okantey (Ethnomusicology Master of Music student) as they discuss their own histories in navigating this journey, along with practical strategies and helpful tips drawn from their hands-on experience.
