Dr. Brittany Hollister is Director of Postdoctoral Affairs and Prestigious Awards in the University of Florida Graduate School.
She is an alumna of Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida (Honors Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, 2012) and Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee (Doctor of Philosophy in Human Genetics, 2017).
Her prior employment experience includes classroom teaching, student mentoring, in-depth research, two years as a National Institutes of Health postdoctoral fellow, and four years of academic coordination and management at the UF Genetics Institute.
Her educational background and work history are an asset in her current position, as both have well acquainted her with challenges that postdocs face and the impact that preeminent funding can have in supporting them.
