Check out these UF services and resources to make the most of your Grad Gator experience.

The University of Florida hosts a wide array of resources and services that can help you make the most of your Grad Gator experience in body, mind, and spirit.

  • UF Disability Resource Center (DRC)
    DRC opens campus to all by providing students with disabilities with accommodations for study and housing along with accessibility consultations.
  • Title IX Compliance Office
    This campus agency leads violence prevention and Title IX initiatives, supporting anyone affected by sexual misconduct, discrimination, or violence, by responding to reports, conducting investigations, and coordinating resolutions.
  • To report and resolve conflict, first go to your department chair or program director.
  • If the conflict is not resolved there, go to your college graduate associate dean.
  • If the conflict is not resolved at that level, your third and final step is to go to the UF Office of the Ombuds.
  • RecSports
    Meet your Grad Gator fitness, nutrition, athletic, and recreational needs through RecSports facilities and programming across campus.
  • Lake Wauburg
    Enjoy some fun in the sun with outdoor recreation at this scenic lakeside retreat reserved for the UF community, where you can picnic, canoe, kayak, paddleboard, paddleboat, swim, and more!
  • GradCARE
    Need help, Grad Gator? No matter what the problem, GradCARE is your first stop for one-on-one consultations with a professional to put you in touch with available solutions.
  • Counseling & Wellness Center (CWC)
    CWC can help you meet life’s challenges with short-term, group, and couples’ counseling, as well as consultations, crisis intervention, outreach, referrals, workshops, and more.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
    EAP provides six free counseling sessions for UF faculty, staff, graduate assistants, postdocs, non-student OPS employees, housing staff or residents.
  • Field and Fork Campus Food Pantry
    Cupboard running bare? Don’t go hungry. Field and Fork offers free bread, canned groceries, frozen meat, and season to all members of the UF community when needed, no questions asked.
  • GatorWell Health Promotion Services
    GatorWell can help you make positive behavioral changes and craft lifestyle strategies that will enhance your personal wellbeing, academic performance, and social life.
  • Recovery Support and Services
    CWC’s Alcohol & Other Drug Services offers safe, non-judgmental consultations, workshops, group therapy, and social events to aid recovery, support sobriety, and inform healthy life choices.
  • Student Health Care Center (SHCC)
    SHCC provides UF students with on-campus medical and pharmacy services to keep you in tip-top shape as a Grad Gator.
  • Talkspace
    Talkspace provides free, confidential counseling and therapy services via live video or messaging to GatorCare members, including their spouses and dependents.
  • UF Health Medical Assistance
    Need help paying for emergency, urgent, or medically necessary health care? UF Health may be able to help. Aid is based on income.
  • U Matter We Care
    U Matter We Care can connect you with appropriate support services when you find yourself in need or in distress.
  • University of Florida Police Department (UPD)
    UPD looks out for your safety and security on campus by providing proactive law enforcement and educational services.
  • UF International Center (UFIC)
    UFIC is a home away from home for global Gators, providing support services for UF international students, coordinating opportunities to study abroad, and fostering contacts for worldwide research engagement across borders.
  • UF George A. Smathers Libraries
    The UF library system includes seven libraries that provide a treasure trove of resources, services, and programs to fuel your education, research, and personal enrichment.
  • Subject/Area Specialists
    The UF George A. Smathers Libraries’ subject/area specialists can help you pinpoint available resources for your specific research needs and personal interests.
  • Collegiate Veterans Success Center
    UF’s Collegiate Veterans Success Center provides specialized connection, support, resources, and services for military veterans and military-connected family members within the UF community.
  • Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS)
    TAPS is your one-stop hub for UF campus parking permits and information on parking zones, free bus service, alternate transportation, carpooling, campus cabs, and more.
  • UF Graduate School Professional Development
    Check out our wide variety of educational, skill-enhancing, and career-oriented programs and resources tailored to help you grow as a Grad Gator.
  • Career Connection Center (C3)
    UF’s C3 can help you with career planning, résumé reviews, job hunting, and more as you move through academia toward your workforce future.
  • Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE)
    Gain know-how and confidence as a teacher with UF CTE guides, worships, certificate programs, and learning networks.
  • Molm Family Gator Career Closet
    Need to spiff up your wardrobe for that big job interview, Grad Gator? UF’s Molm Family Gator Career Closet can help you with free professional attire that will make you look and feel your personal best and strike the right impression.
  • UF Office of the University Registrar (OUR)
    OUR is the official enrollment manager and record keeper for UF students. It is the place to go if you need help with finalizing your course schedule, applying for graduation, or obtaining your transcripts or diploma.
  • UF Research
    UF Research is the comprehensive enterprise at the University of Florida that drives innovation, manages research funding and grants, and coordinates policy, processes, and best practices for research at UF.
  • UF Research Integrity, Security & Compliance (RISC)
    UF RISC provides support to UF’s research community to ensure regulatory and institutional compliance and promote the highest ethical standards in research management.
  • Graduate Assistants United (GAU)
    GAU is the official labor union for UF graduate assistants and negotiates the Collective Bargaining Agreement on their behalf.
  • Graduate Student Council (GSC)
    UF’s GSC is the official liaison between UF graduate students, UF administration, and UF Student Government. It coordinates educational and social activities, alongside providing travel grants for participation in conferences and professional development opportunities.
  • UF Student Engagement
    UF Student Engagement is an all-encompassing umbrella that coordinates manifold student organizations and signature events on campus. It aims to build community and growth by connecting Gators with others who share their interests and fostering meaningful experiences for lifelong success.
  • UF Student Government
    UF Student Government serves as the official representative of the student body with UF administration. Its numerous programs and initiative aim to advocate for student interests and enhance the student experience at the University of Florida.
