The Karen A. Holbrook Graduate Research Endowment — named for its founder, a former Vice President for Research and Dean of the Graduate School at the University of Florida (1993-1998) — funds conference and workshop attendance for UF doctoral students in the health sciences with $2,000 each year.
Candidates can come from any UF Doctor of Philosophy degree program in the UF Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health and Health Professions, and Veterinary Medicine.
Interested eligible students apply to their college among those five, then each of those five colleges forwards their best applicant to the Graduate School for final selection.
